We stayed small
so we could ship.
Gigi Tech LLC was founded in 2025 by three senior engineers who'd spent the previous decade watching good software projects get strangled — by bureaucracy, by bench staffing, by the fundamental misalignment between billable hours and actual outcomes.
We started with a simple thesis: keep the team small, keep the engineers senior, and charge for what we deliver rather than how long we take. One year later, we're a deliberately-sized team of 8 engineers serving 20 active clients across 4 countries.
We've turned down growth opportunities that would have required diluting our bar. Every project is led by a principal engineer with 10+ years of production experience. There is no bench, no junior-heavy staffing model, no layered account management charging 40% overhead on your invoice.
What we build tends to last. Systems we shipped in 2025 are still running core business processes for our earliest clients — a quiet metric we're more proud of than any growth chart.
"We'd rather turn down a project than staff it with someone who can't carry it."
— Founding Principle, 2025
Eight years of disciplined engineering.
Four principles that shape every engagement.
Senior engineers only
Every engagement is led by someone with at least a decade of production experience. We don't train on your dime and we don't pad teams with junior staff billed at senior rates.
Outcomes over hours
We quote fixed-scope, fixed-price engagements whenever possible. You know what you're getting and what it costs before we write a line of code.
Radical transparency
Weekly demos, open repositories, honest status reports. If something's slipping, you hear it from us first — not after a missed deadline.
Built to outlast us
Every system ships with documentation a new team could pick up. We optimize for the handoff, not for retainer lock-in.
